Brian Brown and Anthony Weber make up the dream team at the helm of Snow Farm Summer. From schedules to med call, they sweat the small stuff so the young artists don't have to.
Brian Brown (right) has worked in various capacities at the New England Craft Program since 1994. He has served as the director of Snow Farm Summer for nine years. A veteran high school social studies teacher in the off-season, Brian is active in the performing arts and in coaching high school and youth sports. Young people find it easy to talk with Brian; parents appreciate that he is responsive and responsible.
Anthony Weber is also a high school teacher and has been the assistant director at Snow Farm Summer for six years. He brings a sense of humor and deep caring about the students to his role.
Our instructors are accomplished artists who come from all around the United States (and Europe). Each studio of nine students is staffed with two instructors who have an MFA or equivalent experience in their medium. Snow Farm hires instructors who are creative, fun, intelligent, hard working, and well-rounded. Instructors live at Snow Farm during the summer and interact with students both in and out of the studio. Together, they form a strong community of role models who positively impact the lives of young people. Check back for our full staff roster in the spring.
