Elizabeth handcrafts pieces in precious metals such as sterling silver, 18k gold, palladium, platinum and combinations of 18k gold with patinated sterling silver. She uses ethically sourced colored gemstones and diamonds in various shapes. Her edgy, classic, timeless jewelry is the fine art of design.
After graduating from the University of Arts in Philadelphia, Elizabeth worked for both an art jeweler and a commercial jeweler. She knew deep down that she wanted to develop her art and entered the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan. It was there that she discovered her unique, artistic approach for designing art jewelry. After receiving her Masters Degree in Metalsmithing, Elizabeth has been teaching jewelry design and metalsmithing since 2000.
Elizabeth creates and displays her handcrafted jewelry at her own gallery and studio EatMetal Art Jewelry Gallery and Metals Studio, located in the Monroe Arts Center Building in Hoboken, NJ. There she also conducts jewelry classes, intense workshops and fun, DIY jewelry workshops for small groups and shows other artists art jewelry participating in group exhibitions.
