Linda Jacque received her B.A. from Pratt Institute. Her studio is located in Western Massachusetts.
She is known for her imaginative and detailed work on paintings, wood pieces, and especially for musical instruments including violins and guitars. Clay pieces and other objects add depth and dimension. She challenges herself to learn new techniques and expand her vision of the possible, combining graphic design and bright interpretations of the natural world.
Her work has been shown at Surtex Licensing Show, and at juried events nationwide including the League of NH Craftsmen, Paradise City, and American Craft Council. Her commissions include murals for a New England childrens hospital, and schools.
Linda is inspired by the color, creativity, and the beautiful imperfections of the French impressionists, especially Van Gough. Her classes have an atmosphere where individual expression, joy, and creativity thrive.
