Pauline Warg is a metalsmith with 40 years experience. She earned a Journeyman Metalsmithing Certificate, apprenticing to Master Goldsmith Philip Morton and a BFA from the University of Southern Maine. Her work encompasses fabricated jewelry, silversmithing and enameling. Ms. Warg owns and operates WARG ETC (Scarborough, Maine), a teaching studio for jewelry making, metalsmithing and enameling. Pauline makes and sells chasing and matting tools, and sells her own work through her websites and exhibitions. Pauline is the author of Making Metal Beads (Lark) and Jewelry Enameling Workshop (Interweave). Pauline created a bracelet for and wrote a segment of the book: Jewelry Design Challenge (LARK), and teaches Enameling in the DVD Jewelry Enameling: Torch Fired Tutorial (Interweave). She teaches at a variety of colleges and art centers nationally.
