Temporary Cook/Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a temporary kitchen manager to start ASAP through end of October. The Snow Farm kitchen serves up three delicious meals a day, during weekends and weekdays. We have an open kitchen that allows interaction with our guests. Mealtimes are an important part of our retreat-like atmosphere. The scratch menu is based on seasonal and local ingredients and accommodates the dietary preferences of our guests. The Kitchen Manager plans the menus; places food delivery orders; manages, trains and schedules kitchen staff; maintains a clean and organized kitchen; and works some of the cooking shifts.

  • Previous cooking or catering experience required
  • Serve Safe certification required.
  • Positivity, organization and flexibility are key!

  • Shifts are 6am - 2pm and 2pm - close (around 9:30pm)

Temporary Kitchen Assistants/Cooks

We are seeking temporary kitchen assistants and cooks to start ASAP through end of October.  Join the team that serves three meals a day in a residential craft school setting.  Snow Farm has an open kitchen that allows interaction with our guests. Mealtimes are an important part of our retreat-like atmosphere. The scratch menu is based on seasonal and local ingredients and accommodates the dietary preferences of our guests.

For the cook's position, previous cooking or catering experience is required.   Shifts are 6am - 2pm and 2pm - close (around 9:30pm)

For the assistant's position, no experience is required (salad bar prep, dishwashing, cleaning, assist the cook).  Shirfts are 7am - 3pm and 3pm - close (around 9:30)

Work/Study Positions

The Work-Study Program at Snow Farm is an opportunity for students, artists and craftspeople (ages 18+) to work at Snow Farm in various capacities in exchange for tuition-free workshops, housing, and meals when the dining hall is open. The Program runs from May – November in three, 7-week sessions. The application period is now open with a $25 application fee.  More

Program Management Intern

This internship provides a hands-on experience in what it takes to successfully plan and run arts programming at a busy residential craft school. Interns will be immersed in the day-to-day coordination needed to run a full roster of programs, as well as the forward planning and big picture considerations required to develop cutting-edge programming in craft education.   More

Photography/Videography Intern

Seeking a creative photographer with a sharp eye and own equipment to assist in some or all of these projects:  1) photographing art and action for use in marketing materials, 2) creating short video tours of studios, 3) creating video testimonials of students, and 4) digitizing and organizing the historical photo archive. This photo/video work will be an immediate and important contribution to Snow Farm's new website.  More

Social Media & Marketing Intern

Experience a small marketing department where your contribution will make a difference.  We are seeking a savvy social media user who is also a strong writer and communicator.  Intern will manage activity on Snow Farm social media platforms,  use analytics to guide decisions, write blog posts, assist with production of the Snow Farm annual catalog, and create occasional post cards and flyers.  More
