Mary Anne has been creating jewelry since 1989, starting with earrings made from seashells. Over the years, her jewelry changed dramatically, especially as she discovered the joy of working with metals. Mostly self taught, Mary Anne also studied silversmithing at the Rhode Island School of Design and Brookfield Craft Center. By avoiding a formal education in metalsmithing, Mary Anne developed a unique style and voice in her work.
Her work is sold in craft galleries throughout the country and she has been featured in Connecticut's Ink Magazine and the Westerly, RI Sun. She teaches in her home studio in CT and in nearby community art centers.
