Glassblowing 101

Taught by: 

Learn the basic steps of glassblowing and the exciting rhythm of working in hot shop as molten glass is gathered in a furnace and then rolled, blown, shaped, cut, cooled and then heated again. Students will explore sculpted and blown forms, which may include paperweights, cups, vases, bowls or ornaments. Glassblowing is a team sport, so be prepared to work together and make new friends.
