Snow Farm’s mission is to provide exceptional studio craft and fine art instruction for people of all ages in an inspiring residential setting. We offer an evolving, expansive community where every experience is intended to awaken and nourish the life-changing power of creativity.
People are at the heart of everything we do at Snow Farm – a community of creative folks have been crafting and making art in this special place together for over 50 years now! Whether you’re an established artist eager to share your experience and crafty wares, or a novice craftsperson trying something new or honing your skills, there’s a place for you here.

Why Snow Farm?
Craft Workshops for All Skill Levels, Retreat-like Accommodations
Snow Farm is the only residential, multidisciplinary craft school in Massachusetts and one of just a few in the United States.
From May through October we offer three to six day craft workshops across eight studios: 2D Mixed Media, 3D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Fiber & Baskets, Flameworking, Flat Glass & Mosaics, Metalsmithing & Jewelry, and Woodworking. Adult workshops are a mix of beginner, all-levels, and ‘some experience required’ classes. We welcome 14-18 year olds to our Teen Summer program every July. Throughout the year, we host week-long residencies for artists to pursue independent creative work.
At Snow Farm, we believe in the restorative and rejuvenating power of art and craft making. Our rustic accommodations and nourishing meals ensure you can fully relax into your creative endeavors. Our campus is a charming 50 acre converted dairy farm in the foothills of the Berkshire mountains in western Massachusetts. The peaceful landscape makes it easy to get away from it all as soon as you turn down our gravel driveway. Make a plan to join us this year!
