We are proud to offer need-based scholarships to passionate young artists who would not otherwise be able to attend the Snow Farm Summer program for high school students. The maximum award can be up to a third of the cost of the session, typical awards range from $500 to $1500. Scholarship requests are part of the standard application process. Applicants are required to provide a tax return to document financial need. Generous support for these scholarships comes from individual and business donors, partner organizations, and admissions from our annual fundraiser, the Seconds Sale.
Acknowledgments
A special thank you to Anne Forbes for annually funding the Claire Forbes Memorial Scholarship.
We would also like to thank the following donors for their support of the Endowed Parent & Family Scholarship Fund, established in 2019 to support ongoing scholarships to Snow Farm Summer:
- Laura Brewer & Neil Gershenfeld
- Anne & Glenn Mandigo
- Kevin & Tere McLaughlin
This Fund is on a growth path, with interest from the Fund’s invested principal allowing us to offer these ongoing scholarships. We hope that parents and former teen students will be a part of building this endowment in order to offer future generations the same opportunity and experience they received at Snow Farm Summer. If you would like to donate to support the Endowed Parents & Family Scholarship Fund, please select the fund when making a gift online or contact Mary Jo Murphy at maryjom@snowfarm.org or 413-268-3101 ext. 105.
We are grateful for our many individual donors and Craft Champions who give regularly to support the teen summer program at Snow Farm.
