Operations Manager
The position of Operations Manager is a key role in assuring the smooth execution of Snow Farm’s craft workshops, summer program for high school students, rentals and special events including the orchestration of the Seconds Sale. We are seeking an enthusiastic team player who is dependable, organized, has great people skills, and can multi-task with ease. If you are well organized and thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day is different, we want to hear from you! This position is full-time and onsite.
Responsibilities
- Main liaison with High School Director and HS Assistant Director; ensure that they are meeting program’s goals and objectives including hiring staff and required camp training.
- Day-to-day operations management
- Main point of contact for groups inquiring about rentals, provide pricing and program structure. Manage the logistics for group rentals.
- Orchestrating annual Seconds Sale fundraiser in November which includes some weekend work;
- Managing Operations Assistant, housekeeping staff and work-study students, and;
- managing a small onsite and online craft gallery.
Qualifications
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment with a variety of daily tasks and challenges
- Ability to manage time and projects, prioritize and multi-task
- Excellent interpersonal skills that build strong relationships in a collaborative environment
- Leadership ability to motivate, set goals, monitor progress, and solve problems
- Strong communicator who is effective speaking and writing, knows how to listen actively, and can give and get feedback
- Strong team player who is flexible, has a sense of humor, and understands the mission of Snow Farm.
- Ability to pass a CORI and SORI
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
Compensation
Annual salary is $58,656. Benefits include paid vacation, holidays, and sick days; $2000 reimbursement for medical costs; free home-cooked lunches (when dining room is open); and accrual toward free/reduced workshops at Snow Farm. We do not provide health insurance at this time.
