Tobacco, Drug & Alcohol Policy
Snow Farm is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all students and staff and is a smoke-free environment. No form of smoking, vaping or use of any tobacco products are permitted anywhere on campus, except in one designated area set apart from the main campus (those over age 18). In addition, while marijuana is legal in Massachusetts, Snow Farm complies with federal law and does not permit the use of recreational marijuana in any form on campus.
For guests over the age of 21, Snow Farm has a (BYO) Bring Your Own policy for alcoholic beverages. These beverages may be consumed only in the Common Room/Dining Room, on the grounds; never in the studios.
We assume that anyone with a legal prescription for medication will consume such medication in compliance with that prescription. But in order to ensure the safety of all of our students and instructors, no one may work in a studio under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Many of our studios utilize equipment and tools that require focus and clarity to safely operate. Studio Coordinators reserve the right to refuse equipment and studio use to any student whose use of drugs or alcohol impairs their ability to safely operate studio equipment.
Any guest violating the law or this policy is subject to dismissal from the class and Snow Farm without a refund of any amounts paid.
