Settle In

Leave the pavement behind, hit the gravel and slow down as you turn into campus and head past the farmhouse and the fiber studio, the oldest standing building in town. A welcoming smile will greet you somewhere near the big tree to help get you situated, those who have made it here before know the loop runs one way clockwise.
As you wind your way through the lower campus studios and past the farm pond, park your car and leave the busy world behind you. More friendly faces await your arrival in our common room and dining hall. They’ll get you oriented to campus, let you know about your accommodations, and most importantly direct you to the coffee and tea bar and the charcuterie table.
Get settled in your room, catch your breath. A luscious welcome dinner awaits no matter the season, hearty warm comfort foods and fresh local ingredients around a table with a lively group of your fellow student artists. The night concludes with dessert and a brief presentation from each of the instructors in the workshop session. You’ll be inspired by the creative energy in the room.
A long travel day and cool nights in the spring and fall may invite you to snuggle down early and get some rest where warm long nights in the summer might find you watching the stars and the fireflies long into the dark night.
Whatever you decide you will find being at Snow Farm invites you to relax into the experience. You’ll find both rest and sustenance that allows you to direct your energy into your creative work.
