2026 Instructor Guide
Thank you for joining us this season! Your preparation and dedication towards your workshop is an imperative element in having a successful experience. We want your time to be a memorable one. Below are helpful details to reference as you prepare for your workshop at Snow Farm.

Marketing Partnership – Promoting your workshop is vital!
- List your workshop on your website or wherever you manage your online presence.
- Encourage enrollment through email newsletters and social media – regularly!
- Collaborate and tag us on social: @snowfarmcraft
Program Communication Deadlines:
- 12 weeks prior: Low Enrollment review (0-1)
- 10 weeks prior: Enrollment Update
- 4 weeks prior: Confirm or Cancel decision
- 3-2 weeks prior: Our studio team will contact you to review supplies
- 1 week prior: Arrival Email
- 3 to 4 weeks after: Post Workshop Evals
Pre-workshop Details:
- Communicate with your Students prior to arrival
- Artwork donation expectation
- Drop off at check-in or leave a finished demo piece
- Contact the Program Director if you:
- Need any travel recommendations
- Have housing/meal questions
- Need to arrive early or stay an extra night
- Arrival/Check-In from 4 – 6pm the evening before instruction
- After check in, you’ll meet our studio team in your studio to review supplies and studio information
- Welcome night includes dinner, Snow Farm orientation and the Instructor slideshow
Instructor Slideshow Expectations:
- Brief show of your creative process with examples of your work that is relevant to your workshop.
- Please remember to be courteous of your time – plan to speak for a maximum of 7 minutes.
Payroll:
- After Workshop Confirmation, you will be contacted by our Bookkeeper, Kerry Brumbaugh. She will be your point of contact for payroll needs/questions.

- The Instructor Handbook will be linked in your account
- All paychecks will be deposited directly into the bank account within 14 days of your workshop.
