Artists and experienced Snow Farm students are invited to spend a week in our studios pursuing independent work in the company of a small group of other artists. Snow Farm will provide ample personal space in a shared studio (residencies will have fewer people per studio than a typical workshop), housing, and meals. Most studios will have unrestricted 24-hour access; for safety reasons, some studios will require working in pairs after 9 pm. See each studio description below.

No instruction is provided during the residency. Studio monitors will assure the safe and proper use of equipment, but they are not instructors and they will also be working on personal projects. In kiln/stained glass and ceramics, studio monitors will schedule firings. In flameworking, they will manage annealing schedules.

Housing & Meals

The residency spans 6 nights, from arrival on Monday to departure on Sunday. The meal package starts with dinner on Monday and goes through lunch on Sunday.
