Find your flow at Snow Farm
Residency Programs
If you’re looking for quiet, well equipped studio space and time to practice your craft, consider a residency at Snow Farm. Snow Farm offers three different types of artist residencies:
Our January through March Winter Residencies are for artists who enjoy a white landscape and whose creativity blossoms in the deep quiet of winter. Accommodations are in the cosy cottage and residency periods are for one week – students can come for as many weeks as they like.
In April, the Free Independent Residency is held for experienced makers. Applications open on January 1 and qualified applicants will be entered into a drawing for the chance for a total of 6 open residency spots. There is a small application fee, but otherwise no costs for studio access, housing and kitchen access; residents provide their supplies, meals, and travel.
In the fall, we offer small group residencies that allow 3 or 4 artists in each of the offered studios to pursue their own projects or practice with the support of Snow Farm housing and meals.
