Emily Bhargava has been teaching and leading community art projects for more than 20 years. She often works on the border between art and public health, using art to share health information, to increase community capacity and collaboration, and to increase engagement in building healthy communities. Stained glass is her preferred medium, but she also works in mosaic, fabric and paint. Emily has a long history with Snow Farms summer program and is pleased to be teaching as part of the year-round programming for the first time this year. Emily enjoys teaching in a relaxed setting, allowing students to experience the medium from the very beginning of class. She encourages exploration and experimentation while guiding students to assure their success.
