John Huckins is an artist and builder originally from northern New England. He holds a BFA in Metalsmithing and Jewelry from Maine College of Art and an MFA in Metal from the State University of New York at New Paltz. Currently, John holds the Studio Manager position in the Metals Lab at Tufts University. Huckins work ranges from conceptual art, historical restoration, functional and architectural ironwork and objects for the table. Some of his most recent notable projects include permanent architectural work at the Paul Revere House in Boston Massachusetts, award winning sculpture in the traveling exhibition I.M.A.G.I.N.E. Peace Now and exhibiting at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich Germany.
