Glass Mosaics

Creating mosaic out of glass is a meditative process with plenty of room for improvisation and creativity. Learn the basics of composing an image suited for mosaic and how to work with colors, shapes and patterns of vibrant glass pieces to create impact. Working hands-on, practice the techniques for cutting and laying glass and finally grouting your work. Students will complete a 12" x 12" glass mosaic mounted in a wooden frame.
